ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting is inspired from my childhood, when I used to walk barefoot, used to have a ginger cat named Tiger and adored to chase red hens around all the time. I had a wooden bow and was practising to shoot with it until one day I hurt a red hen. With this painting I give my respect to the red chicken for which I felt really sorry. I choose to depict this story with oils on a canvas in the naivety and surrealistic style because I felt it will let me express the child in me the best.
