Researching how current global events affect an individual's attitude to his personal world and his experience. In recent years, we have experienced unusual situations and social crises. The years 2020, 2021 and 2022 are characterized by terms such as corona, pandemic, testing, vaccination, Russian war, Ukraine, propaganda, hoaxes, energy crisis. Many of them provoked debates and, consequently, the polarity of society. Many controversial topics have been and are being discussed in the media and among people. In addition to a certain social or media unrest, it causes a person's inner unrest. Even people who try not to express or admit crises perceive it through their unconsciousness. For example, a large number of people complaining of anxiety or depression. Similar conditions are experienced by people all over the world, and these days global news cannot be avoided. The exhibition is therefore called The Global pain - pain, discomfort, or the fear we feel when we are exposed to this global action and at the same time "global" in the sense that it affects people everywhere, regardless of country. The artworks in the exhibition The Global Pain visually materialize these states and feelings. Archetypally, they depict a state where we feel anxiety and pain, because we feel powerless, we have no possibility to change things or fight against them.
