About The Artwork
Soula Saad is a Beirut-based independent documentary filmmaker and recipient of the 2010 Women’s International Film & Television Showcase Foundation Best Documentary Film Award. She is currently working on a film about female artists, writers, and musicians around the world called Femininetude. COLLECT THE SERIES: Celebrate the extraordinary women of the Global Women Project by collecting the entire print series as they are released. Limited edition prints of 50. Archival Inkjet Print on Arches Velin Museum Rag. Size 19” x 19” which includes a 1” border where it is hand signed and numbered. Can be floated in a standard 20” x 20” square frame. These prints are created from the original 82”x 82” multi-media painting installations of the subjects. Includes Certificate Authenticity, Edition Number, Artist Signature, Global Women Project Stamp. Wrapped in archival paper, floated and padded within a flat shipping box. Future collections may include special artist embellished prints.

Jennifer White Kuri currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Kuri received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley where she studied with leading painters of the San Francisco Bay Area Figurative School, including Joan Brown and Elmer Bischoff. Drawing from a diverse cultural and geographic landscape, Kuri’s work often takes a diaristic approach. She thrives in the space between the representational and the conceptual, allowing her to exploit contextual and perceptual shifts. Kuri has exhibited in the United States and Europe in numerous solo and group shows including ICASTICA 2013: Europe’s first International Women’s Art Biennale in Arezzo, Italy; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; and Art Basel/Miami. Her work can also be found in the permanent collection of the Galleria Comunale d’Arte Contemporanea in Arezzo, Italy; featured on the HBO television series Six Feet Under; and in numerous private collections.
