[...]The pictorial research of Morea is not limited only within the borders of Abstract Expressionism, but also to certain aspects of Pop Art and NEW DADA. He proposes, as it did with the American flag in 1945 the painter Jasper Johns, an Italian flag, where the traditional colors Morea adds collage of wooden letters forming the word PUZZLES, symbol of the 'homeland of the Riddles'. Paradigmatic work with a strong ironic value. No longer just a fetish inert and formulaic, it becomes a means of intellectual reflection on us, our history fraught with unresolved puzzles.[...]
