The Indian Dancer Painting

This work is inspired by a photograph that I saw. I managed to capture the richness of the beautiful Indian dancer's fluid dance movement in the art work which has remained as part of my collection. I hope viewers will see the richness of the Indian tradition - the vibrant costume, the beautiful dance moves that are so difficult to copy without years and years of practice, and of course, the beautiful dancer and appreciate that diversity is cool, and can be likened to walking in the park that features blooms of various kinds. I chose watercolor because I love its effect, although I have to admit, I am still learning and will forever be learning.
