Born in 1948 in Pancevo, ex Yugoslavia(married,one son).Lives and works as a physician in The Institute of Public Health of County of Istria,Pula,Croatia."Imagination is more important than knowledge.Knowledge is limited.Imagination encircles the world"/A.Einstein/"Art completes what nature cannot bring to finish"-Aristotel/384-322 BCE/"Ars longa,vita brevis"I was growing with and within art. Medicine has always been my main inspiration. However, painting is my passion, my love and a link to an imaginative life. Creativity is my sensation, an experiment and an everyday hobby. The arts from the Far East and orient have been my basic inspiration.Inspiration include:Picasso,Shagall,Escher,Hundertwasser,Murtic,Percan,Trumic,Predic. My style is figurative and abstract at the same time. I started drawing and painting during my studies of medicine. Throughout these years, I have participated in a lot of collective exhibitions, and I have had nine personal ones in Croatia and Italy. I won the second prize at 7th International competition in painting in Coseano, Italy in May 2006 (Coseano vie d`artista, 7a rasegna Internazionale di pittura, maggio 2006) and Silver medal in Bordano (It) at IV Concorso di Pittura nazionale a tema libero ?Cjalt Friul?/2006.Finalrunde des Palm Art Award 2007-Who is Who in Visual Art -Art-Domain -Gallery,Leipzig/Germany.100 finalists in 2007 Bronze medal on 119 finalists-"TreasurePostcards08 Project"-The Ninth Street Gallery,March/08,silence auction-Washington,USAI have received many other compliments and written recommendations for my work.
