Born in Ukraine and grew up in Czech Republic. Her family moved there when Anastasia was 7. Anastasia studied Economics and accounting, but always felt that her soul was drawn towards creativity and self-expression. At 19, she started her career as a model and began to travel around the world. Tokyo, Paris, London, Hong Kong, and now New York… Living in these beautiful cities, Anastasia was impressed by their architecture and age-old culture. She tried to understand the city from the inside, to look at it not as a tourist, but as a local. Architectural forms, galleries, museums, history. Local streets and nooks, where every corner breathes with its own story, history and culture. All these fascinated, attracted and inspired Anastasia. Living in Paris, Anastasia spent most of her free time at the Musee d’Orsay. Impressionism was very close to her heart. But there, also, Anastasia realized that she liked abstract art more as a painter. New York is an endless source of inspiration for Anastasia. This city makes her bare the feelings. Inspired by NYC and her travels, Anastasia expresses her emotions in many of her paintings. The phrase: "See beauty in everything.", describes Anastasia best. Anastasia did not study art. She is a self-taught artist and discovered her love for painting at an early age. Usually she starts painting without having the idea settings in her head. She likes when the process unfolds in front of her. And loves to see where the inspiration takes her and she just lets the creation process flow. She likes to use bright colors in her works. Bright colors symbolize the life of a big city in all its manifestations: fast, multi-faceted, with hundreds of possibilities and rapidly changing. A vibrant acrylic palette is the best way to express this. Anastasia doesn't like to leave the canvas blank. Every spot of it will be filled with paint. Brush strokes, using spatula, paint drops and splashes gives to her work a dynamic and durable texture. Orange, blue, white, black, red - mixing colors and geometric shapes. That's what Anastasia loves. Strokes, lines, dots - dynamics, color and light give rise to relief and the painting comes to life.
