Born in Seoul, Korea, I studied Korean painting at Kyung Hee University, and taught art practice, art theory at several universities for last 16 years. I came to the United States to continue my career as an artist in the fall of 2006. I am living and working in Northport, Long Island, New York. I have presented my work in solo exhibitions including Broadway Gallery (New York), Bergen Performing Arts Center(New Jersey), and Gallery Artside (Seoul), and so did in Korea and Japan across the world, having more than 60 group exhibitions. My artworks were collected by Western Kentucky University and Palisades Park Public Library(New Jersey) as their permanent collection. Also, many of my artworks were purchased by private individuals. My artworks and the articles about them were published and reviewed by The New York Times(2010), The Korea Daily(New York, 2008), NY Arts Magazine(2007), Korean Art 2000(2001), New Wave in ’90 Korean Color & Ink Painting(1991).
