The Old Copper Mine Painting

Judith Donaghy was born in Frodsham Cheshire. She now lives with her husband and family in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire. She has a studio on the 3rd floor of The Vernon Mill, Stockport, Cheshire, which houses a collective of about 40 artist. It is open to the public most weekends and for 2 weeks annually in October. Judith paints landscapes and seascapes in oil using palette knives and brushes. Extraneous detail is omitted and texture, colour and design,is used to create mood and atmosphere. She shows and sells her work on a regular basis through galleries in and around the Manchester area. Solo exhibition Preview 19 - 30 November 2010.
