Catherine Alvarez was born in Chile, has traveled different countries and corners of the world, and currently resides in the Netherlands. She studied Graphic Design at DUOC UC in Concepción of Chile, after graduating she worked for some companies and later started her own Design company. She started drawing and painting from an early age and always excelled in creativity, drawing, painting, design and communication. She has a talent that she has enhanced and complemented in each trip and experience, living history, art and culture; and expanding her creative horizons. Over time she began to explore not only digital art, oil and watercolor, but also acrylic, colored pencil and other mixed media; unfortunately a large part of her works was lost in the last earthquake in Chile. Catherine Alvarez is known for her eye for detail, creative mind, and continual exploration of composition, form, texture, and emotion. Thank you and welcome to my window of stories, beauty, subjectivity, art and expression. ------ Catherine Alvarez nació en Chile, ha viajado por diferentes países y rincones del mundo, y actualmente reside en Holanda. Estudió Diseño Gráfico en DUOC UC en Concepción de Chile, luego de graduarse trabajó para algunas empresas y posteriormente montó su propia empresa de Diseño. Comenzó a dibujar y pintar desde temprana edad y siempre se destacó en creatividad, dibujo, pintura, diseño y comunicación. Tiene un talento que ha potenciado y complementado en cada viaje y experiencia, viviendo la historia, el arte y la cultura; y expandiendo sus horizontes creativos. Con el tiempo comenzó a explorar no solo el arte digital, el óleo y la acuarela, sino también el acrílico, el lápiz de color y otras técnicas mixtas; lamentablemente gran parte de su obra se perdió en el último terremoto de Chile. Catherine Alvarez es conocida por su buen ojo para los detalles, su mente creativa y su continua exploración de la composición, la forma, la textura y la emoción.
