Acrylic on linen canvas, 40x80x3.6cm, 2022. They have all faces, all ethnicities. No matter the eras. No matter the pretext. For power, money, a piece of land. For fear and stupidity also. Kepis, uniforms, sashes, lab coats. Dictatorships are not named. Bending over backwards? Because, as long as injustice and the worst happen to others, it doesn't happen to you. But that would not be a solution. The mind is the first to rebel, the last to submit. Art, the work of the mind, is both a message of hope and an act of rebellion. "Freedom is not given. It must be taken” (Meret Oppenheim) Use of acrylic, the most recent medium because it is suitable for the runaway of our society. Thanks for your interest © 2022 Ludovic Jaccoud Artwork. © 2022 Ludovic Jaccoud Artwork. All rights reserved.

He exhibited his famous collection of anamorphic portraits during May to August 2014, at the NEST Gallery. The Opening of these Exhibitions were attended by art lovers with great enthusiasm. Ludovic portrays isolation, the influence of technology on the human being, the difficulty of human relations Ludovic’s artworks are part of his life, and of your life too. In his artworks, art and social commentary co-exist, which play a tremendous role in our own life. This exceptional Artist depicts social symbols, relevant to nowadays society, revealing portraits, topics and matters, where every detail is carefully observed, captured, and mastered. Via authentic elements, he illustrates his feelings then convey them to fans of figurative art. Using acrylic paint, each figurative, semi-abstract and/or anamorphic artwork reveals how difficult the authentic is to achieve. Ludovic brings his feelings onto the canvas with an authentic gesture on today's society. But not only as shown on his different websites.
