Living in California after being born and raised in Paris France, Flo de Bretagne loves meeting new people and new places. Painting is a way for her to connect with other people on an emotional level and success is achieved when the viewer feels moved by her paintings. She wants to focus on beauty and love in our world. Just like the peacocks who are able to eat a poisonous food from which they make a magnificent plumage, sometimes we have to swallow difficulties and challenges, and still decide to have a beautiful life. After graduating in business and law in Paris, Flo decided to pursue her true passion: art. She studied 5 more years to get her Master’s degree at the National Superior School of Decorative Arts, Paris. A globally exhibited fine artist, Bretagne has received numerous accolades as a contemporary painter, including first place in the all-media category at the 2004 Contemporary Art Fair of Montrouge. In 2005, she was selected with 9 other artists to represent her country France at the European Contemporary Art Fair. In 2013 she won First Prize in an Art Competition organized by Caring with Colors in Kansas. She has shown her work at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) Artists Gallery, at the Los Gatos Museum of Art, at the David Himmelberger Gallery of Art in San Francisco at Living with Art Gallery in NYC, and in the spring of 2016 she had a solo-show at the Gallerie des Saint-Pères in Paris. Her work is included in numerous private and public collections, among others the Palo Alto Medical Foundation and the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital collection. Contact
