About The Artwork
Pistachio House is another design by Jeff Shelton a local Architect. It has playful motifs in the exterior and holds that similar array of architectural styles similar to Spanish Colonial Revival with a Mediterranean and Moroccan twist. The building is located in lower downtown at the opening of the Santa Barbara Waterfront. It was completed in Spring 2002. One of its unique features is the four hanging rugs made out of colored tile as seen in the painting.
