The Place I Can No Longer Forget Painting

My art weaves together the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and metaphysical. I like to zoom in and, at the same time, zoom out — the whole picture matters, yet often, it’s within the tiniest details and the many possible paths and outcomes where meaning unfolds. Playfulness is essential in discovering the right forms, shapes, and arrangements, and for embracing the endless possibilities that emerge when we let go of rigidity. My work is inspired by life as a spiritual journey — a continuous search for meaning, self-exploration, and growth. It reflects on themes of conditioning and reconditioning, pattern recognition, and the process of navigating through the labels and roles each person inherits from society. These ideas are embedded in my creative process and surface through both form and content.
