The Priest Painting

Though we all are the child of god, the mediators who connect our thoughts to the divine source which is unseen is the priest. He as we know is the one who maintains the rules by which the transcended beings for which we ask for help can answer to our questions. But being a priest requires immense sacrifice along with a high degree of devotion and dedication through which they can enlighten their inner light and burn their own inner spiritual candle's to see the path towards enlightenment. During this course of time he has to shed all the materialistic modes of life which is a pleasure to most humans. He restricts himself from monetary needs, social and bodily pleasures, restricting himself to a certain type of attire and in certain religions like in that of the Hindus most priests/ baishnavs need to shave their hairs too. With these devotional thoughts this painting was made as a hindu priest is seen enlightening himself with his dedication and devotion while he uses the sree yantra.
