About The Artwork
A remorseful individual who took part in the 1979 Iranian Islamic revolution ................... which I call devolution. He has walked a long way, hence the bloody feet and suffered from the revolutionary regime, hence the bloody marks on his back from lashes ordered by court of Islamic law. He has fallen in front of the tomb of the founder of Persia, Cyrus the Great, in shame and remorse.
