About The Artwork
This is my first impression of "The Resistance Is Here". In Oil pastel and Acrylic, I can attack and create an instant impression with fresh and raw results. I have patterns influencing my artistic imagination. One of these is Science Fiction films. I am fascinated by the power of imagination unleashed when we set a whole new set of rules. All of the possiblitlies we see in Science Fiction often point back to possibilities of human potential. I love to explore moments in film where technology, nature and humanity either destroy each other, or recreate each other. We have a responsibility to learn from these collisions and harmonies as we attempt to build a better world There is a stunning aesthetic in the newest Star Wars films. This is one scene, where there is an uplifting moment of hope, and incredible natural beauty.

Louis Parsons has devoted his life and artwork to exploring the mystery and beauty of human potential. This devotion led him to pioneer a new form of commissioned art called SoulScaping, which celebrates the unique essence of an individual, partnership or family. These paintings are an exceptional kind of self-portraiture, capturing the inner dimensions of a person or couple rather than the physical. Louis has been the Guest Artist at the Four Seasons, Kuda Huraa in the Maldives for the past 6 years. In 2017 he will be Guest Artist at Gili Lankanfushi in the Maldives and Four Seasons, Serengeti. Louis also uses art to host workshops or commission paintings for businesses to help them visualise future goals and objectives and unleash the creative energy that lives within them and their company. His VisionScaping has been used with Mars, Ebay, Microsoft, PLC, RBS and many more. One of his most encouraging moments was when one of his SoulScapes raised £120,000 at auction for charity. When he's not painting Louis loves to surf and spend time with his wife and children.
