About The Artwork

Rembrandt fluid colors and liquid gold leaf on wood. “ The Secret Idea “ has its roots in times still reflecting ( to me ) the charm of Romantic atmospheres that wrapped in mystery the complexities and depths of human mind. What pleasantly strikes me, today, is the fact that I can perceive, in my painting, connotations of images drawn from the world of Sciences, meant to explicit, increasingly, the secrets and complexities of our minds. I feel, then, by now, that I can sense the Secret Idea through the perception and charm of the imagined, intense activities of neurons and glia.

To the lessons of Maria Dal Conte, my Teacher of Art at High School, and later, after University, to the lessons of Liliana Barbieri, an artist from Brera Academy in Milan, I owe most of my beginnings in artistic activity. To my teacher of Philosophy, Renato Tisato, and, later, to the acquaintance of Rossana Bossaglia, Professor of the History of Art, I think I owe a great deal as well.
