ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This painting which is like a still life of electronic elements on a circuit board references a dense urban district of a city. Kowloon walled city was such a place. Now demolished, it was separate in many ways from the rest of Hong Kong, being un-governable by the British or the Chinese governments.
