ABOUT THE ARTWORK
About The Artwork "The View Through #6" is a mixed media painting made of acrylic, maps and vintage style wrapping paper. This work began with a large central shape that looks through to the view beyond. In all of my work, I am interested in the formalities of picture making as well as a narrative that lies beneath the surface. This mixed media painting on canvas asks the viewer to imagine what we see when we "look through." The painting is varnished and wired for hanging.
