About The Artwork

This painting was inspired by a trip to NY and the title comes from a couple of hours we spent re-tracing our steps in Central Park, trying to find something I lost. Which is anecdotally true, although the painting focuses more on the relationship aspect of the event and the park is just a metaphor for life and the walking around... well... it is just us living our life. And some paths in the painting lead to other paths and sometimes turn into thin lines, and there are blue skies and darker blues and pink for love and a fleshy salmon for... well, you know... and there are patterns for the routine (good routine, I say) and the lines for the things we must do, and there is some order and also total chaos... but it all comes together.
