The golden rabbits drinking place Painting

This painting is the first of a large abstract series: The legend of the golden rabbit. It includes both paintings and sculptures, or more precisely, objects. Colors and shapes belong to the non-objective art. Only a miniature sculpture of a golden rabbit gives each painting a figurative element. In this painting, the drawing of a medieval drunkard is added. The picture is painted on wood. This makes it reminiscent of medieval panel paintings. In the time before the invention of the canvas artists painted either directly on the wall or on wooden panels.
