'The messenger' Painting

'The messenger' was inspired by my premonitory / precognitive dreams. Since I was very young I used to have this type of dreams that appear to give me advance notice or warning of some future major event. Some were happy, like the dream that predicted my pregnancy / my first painting, but some were sad. Either way I always imagined them as being messages from my guardian angel that tries to protect me by providing some extra time to be ready for the following events. I chose to think of my guardian angel as being the Archangel Ariel, known also as the patron saint of new beginnings. Each major event in my life opened a new chapter, a new beginning. Ariel stands for nature love and life energy / finding your faith, self-esteem, purpose / healing wounds and overcome obstacles / enlightenment - spiritual ascension. The viewer can feel the power transferred from the painting directly to their hearts. Powerful by the angel posture, greatness, protection, strength, but also sensitivity through the teary eyes. The represented human feels peaceful, calm, safe because by the faith she carries, she knows nothing can ever break her.
