About The Artwork
The connection between music and visual art plays a key role in her artistic expression which explains the creation of her latest series "The Major Fall, the Major Lift" thematizing the tempo and metric of bel canto music, as Claudia Fauth is also an educated singer and her main interest lies in the way of singing in the late 16th Century in Italy. That series shows an dazzling contrast between the contemporary acrylic spray technique and that old technique of voice training.
