From the beginning of my professional training I have always focussed on the theory and philosophy of art and have dedicated my passion to painting as a personal and self-taught activity. After finishing my master’s degree in Critical Theory and Aesthetics as well as teaching at various academic levels, I decided to take a break from the cerebral part of my pratice to explore my practical contact with art. The first leap that I’ve taken in this regard is to show my works to the public and in this way to nurture a platform where I can also enrich the exchange of ideas and generate resonance in this rich world of art. My main interests in practical terms are movement, visual weight and composition; always taking into account the potential of mark-making as a way to generate sensations and suggest shapes and ideas.
