ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of my series of quarry pool paintings, These fascinating pools differ dramatically from those of Hockneys.The still black water reflecting the beauty of the surrounding this pool i was particularly attracted to the natural sculptural quality of the stone.I find this quarry pool to be very tranquill it forms a circle of stone that has a small entrance and on a still day produces these incredible alluring reflections.
