In many cultures combing a braid used to be ceremonial. In Russia a girl combed a braid before the wedding and plait two braids instead of one. This ceremonial change of hairstyle meant that the girl’s life was changing. She didn’t know if her life would be better or worse but she knew for sure that it wouldn’t be the same as it used to be.

I was born in Ulyanovsk, Russia. In 2003 I moved to Moscow following my dream to be a student of Stroganov Moscow Academy of art and Industry . While studing in Stroganov academy I made money by painting airbrush on motorcycle and cars. In 2014 my husband and I moved to Thailand where I started to paint vivid still lifes. Through a time my still lifes evolved from decorative to still lifes which make sense. Vegetables and fruits are just shapes to show an idea, it's always something behind the cover. Now I am back to Russia and focusing on a human body.
