Painting "The village of Groza". Canvas, acrylic. 35x45cm. 17,7x13,7 inches. 2023 Painting is based on real events that happened on October 5, 2023. The village of Groza is located in the Kharkov region, Kupyansky district of Ukraine. As a result of the shelling of a local store and cafe, where a funeral was being held for a deceased fellow villager. The strike killed 59 civilians, including 6 year old child. The painting is executed in restrained colors.
