"They Still Work" is an acrylic on canvas painting measuring 30" high x 40" wide, interpreting a warehouse near my art studio near downtown Houston, Texas. The warehouse is old, rusty and about to fall apart. While looking at the rusty roof, I noticed that there were an array of colors present--not just rusty orange--but brilliant blues and greens. I incorporated those colors into the windows as well, creating a stained glass effect.
