About The Artwork
I love movie poster art. I love the style of Impressionism as well as the expressionist. Jim Dine, Jasper John’s, and Edvard Munch’s styles can all be seen in this piece. Our liberties are given up most of the time unbeknownst to us. I wanted this piece to represent that fact that our voice is being taken away by our politicians, sometimes without us knowing and sometimes in the guise of safety or their option of what is best for us. This is one of my favorite piece to date. I used oil on canvas and experiment with epoxy over the font. 1:1 signed and numbered prints are available in both AP, HPM, and numbered.
