Painting: Acrylic, Gouache on Wood.
An exploration of time and place, utilizing small, temporary forms within the landscape. Shapes are repeated and layered depicting levels of concealment and revealing unexpected forms.
Beginning with a cradled wood panel, I drip/spill/pour ink and watered down gouache. Once this process is finished, I use cut paper stencils to apply solid layers of color, simultaneously concealing and revealing color and organic forms.
