“Streets broken in two bunch of kids drinking rage by the straw fists and blades to tell the name whom will rule over the block drowning in the mud lone moms boiling tea the yellow light the grunting kitchen the window is my television police came too late they missed the shine of the young blades” ORIGINAL PAINTING "Everyday I search for art through little gems hidden behind the mysterious beauty of time and space. I know for sure that Art exist everywhere. Art is life that would manifest itself through a series of emotions that take us to a long, unique journey. My art do not want to represent, my art want to tell something about life, ordinary life. I hope. During the last 5 years, I've gone through a deep research about the human habitat. I was trying to catch beauty in the everyday environment, especially urban environment. The tragedy of the obvious and overseen suddenly became beauty to my eyes. What created all this? Humankind. We are the only animals on Earth that posses the unique gift of exponentially evolve our intellect. From that point, culture was born. So, few months ago, I've started a new research for which I got deeply involved into the social commentary hidden behind history, fashion, politics, philosophy, literature, economy, media technology, popular culture, stereotypes, sports, money. I am trying to use my art as a tool to vandalize, to spoil the fake beauty, the fake symbols, the fake principles, the fake values of contemporary society. The intros to my work want to be a mix of real life and visual poetry. I use mixed media because that reflects the world I am living in: all differences are connected, creating a unique texture, the perfect wave." I am a bit allergic to presentations: I prefer the content instead of the package. I use different techniques and media mixed together, including printmaking, photography, drawing and painting. I use acrylics, oil pastels, gel ink pens, markers and pencils on paper, canvas and wood. At this stage of my career or artistic life, I do not follow any narrative in particular. Each artwork has a specific introduction written in from of poetic statement. I find myself inspired by single episodes, single thoughts. My art is a fluid sequence of ideas projected into social commentary. Establishing a common introduction is almost impossible. That's why I try not to be caged into any category or label. I want that each artwork tell a story by detached, autonomous thoughts. Making a statement reduce the possibility for an artist to research and explore at 360 degrees. Any statement can be changed and reinterpreted at any time, infinite times. I let my art to be free to develop within any direction. Each project of mine will be more like a book, or a movie. It tells right there and stays right there. What come next is life and its unknown, restless evolution. THE INFORMAL GRAFFITI PROJECT "Informal Graffiti is a tiny drawing on the blank surface of my artistic universe. My graffiti is informal because does not follow the media, the format, the scale or the intention of traditional graffiti art. Informal graffiti is an attempt to use intellectual and material fragments of the hyper consumption culture (credit cards , aluminum cans, old pieces of wood, dirty old paper, etc) in order to decontextualize the traditional relationship between the viewer and the message. I look at Arte Povera philosophy as cultural inspiration , because it is the only art movement that challenged the establishment in terms of art, politics, economy, culture. Arte Povera’s ideas boost my sense of engagement to the surrounding world, where art practice becomes the main way to rebel, to disagree, to criticize, to reimagine, to reinvent. I reject the idea of using art to create social media phenomenons, because I personally make some art to survive and not to entertain" Fabio Coruzzi exhibited at galleries, museums and art fairs around the world.
