Threads Of Love As Comfort Painting

A painting, perhaps, about reaching for love; though, are there two figures, or two aspects of one? Like most of my work in oils, this is painted in several thin and perfectly smooth layers of oil paint. I typically use an imprimatura (base tone), an opaque underpainting in earth or neutral colours, and a glaze layer in more transparent and brighter colours. I use a tiny amount of amber in my painting medium to add a unique level of stability, and a silvery lustre to the result. Frame is solid pine stained black.
