Where is my people? Where is my home? I feel lost in the steppe because I don’t know which path to take. And I feel led walking between the trees in the forest. I want to be good, to be with my culture, but what is my culture? I'm a stranger everywhere. I always live in a war within me. But I'm tired. Too tired ... too much to see the beauty of the differences ...

Recently, in spite of the insanely interesting travels, I have sunk deep into a routine. And worst of all is the routine that hangs over me from the future. And the routine from the future is worse and more terrible than the routine of the present, which, in general, increases my fatigue, but quickly passes into the category of the past and seems to disappear. I can't think of anything sensible, catchy, inspiring. I am so accustomed that the image that I paint in colors later comes to me naturally, naturally ... But there is nothing. I break out of the endless circle of office-road-kitchen, and I hope that just about, something will flash to me. And nothing. The Muses seem to have forgotten my name and flew away to a more hopeless member of society. And so I sat down and began to think, and from where does something come to me in terms of inspiration. What kind of birds are these muses, and why do they not live in a cage for drawing business cards? Here's the answer I came up with: Nothing comes just like that. In general, it is logical. But what about all these stories about artists or composers who for no apparent reason receive a signal from space - to create! And they run headlong to create their masterpieces, inspired, apparently, by aliens. And here's what's going on: 1st, this is practice. If you don't draw, don't write, don't compose all the time, you won't come across a new technique, an interesting shape, a beautiful spot, a great melody. The second is time. And this is the most important thing. After all, everything that comes from space comes, in reality, not from outside, but from within. Looking for inspiration on the side, in flight from everyday life - I did not find anything. Not because it does not exist, but because enough time has not passed. Abstract images are made up of the past, layers and intersections of emotions and experiences. Imagine each emotional outburst is a handful of earth. Every day of practice is a drop of water (sweat), every thought is the hands that care for the earth, and every work is a seed that may or may not remain a seed. And it is not enough just to pass off a sprout as a full-fledged tree, you need to grow it in thinking about this image, practice about this form and the sunny warmth of love for your craft. Therefore, it is important to do what you like. Because without love for your work, there is no forest of completed projects, there is no fresh air of greenery and solar heat. PS And the muses .
