About The Artwork
Tiyakad or kadang-kadang (bamboo stilt race) is a traditional Filipino racing game, where each player of two teams uses bamboo stilts to walk to the goal line. The player returns to the starting line and then let the next player do the same. This painting was part of "Everything Pinoy for the Everyday Pinoy" group exhibit, which aimed to promote Philippine culture. UV archival varnish was used to protect the painting from dirt, dust, smoke, grease, humidity, and UV radiation. When you buy my paintings, 10 percent of profit will be donated to Project PEARLS.
