This painting is part of a recent body of work inspired by the social uprising of Chile on October 2019, as a homage to those who fight, for dignity, for the stranger walking next to them, for the dreams of others, for the hopes of the people they’ll never meet. It is also my way of saying Thank You, to all the brave ones, for giving me back the desire of a better future, the hope of one day belonging and for not being afraid of feeling anymore. Acrylic painting on Canvas defaced with pastel colors, is the metaphor that gives life to what I like to call a beautiful unattainable dystopia.
