ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was driving home and through the trees I saw a beautiful sunset. There was a local church in the background and I was drawn to the light coming through the tree so much that I knew it would be the subject of my next painting. The title comes for the hope of tomorrow, but the faith and trust that it will be better than today.

I am so fortunate to be an artist. I have the privilege to express myself through paint, pencils, and other tools in mostly abstract painting. I find inspiration in nature, particularly in the way light lights objects, shines through things, and gives life our glow. I also bring alot of color into my work and enjoy how color and line bring energy to a painting. I was awarded my biggest honor so far in 2021 when I received Signature Status in the National Watercolor Society with my painting "Dialogue." I live in a rural area outside of Houston, Texas and enjoy our life with my husband, our grown children, grandchildren, and our dog Mia. We count our blessings every day.
