"Toscana landscape" Painting

I have lived in Baden-Baden / Germany since 1996.
I was born on September 24, 1974 in Vladimir, Central Russia.

After graduating from an academic art school (1984 to 1988), I began studying at the St. Petersburg branch of the State Cultural Institute. From September 1989 to June 1993 I studied at the branch of the St. Petersburg Cultural Institute, a state institution of high reputation and high admission requirements for studying. The course went beyond the usual art studies in Russia – it was supplemented by design studies (comparable to interior design studies), which had rarely been combined in this way in Russia up to that point. In addition to academic art, Impressionism and Expressionism were taught here.

In Germany I studied graphic design (communication design) at the Diploma University (state of Hesse) from 2020 to 2023.

My main work goes stylistically from realism and academic art to impressionism, post-impressionism and expressionism. The works are characterized by the use of strong colors and expressive brushstrokes. Large, impressive, partly impressionistic, partly semi-abstract paintings of landscapes and more create transports to inner worlds and emotions. What dominates is the connection between the works and something larger than nature and the exploration of color and light.
