ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Touch and Go was done in layers of thinned oil paint, which allowed for some shapes to be transparent, showing shapes behind them. The artist was experimenting with suggesting the complex geology of a mountain, as she is an avid hiker and loves the outdoors. The painting is in a black wood floater frame with a narrow gold front edge, and it is signed on the back.
