Rachel nelson spent the last 20 or so years creating emmersive art installations and visuals for parties at both the space she runs, Secret Project Robot, and other loft parties and DIY spaces across the world. She has only recently started exhibiting her own works, exuberant and large paintings on found cardboard, which most often portray a dystopian state where nature is distored in the form of giant neon flowers which often grown out from inane consumer products, implying a deep cynism for the economic, social and environmental status quo while also juxtapozing a hope that one day nature will take back what we have taken.
