ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Born in Guangzhou China in 1961. Brian Zheng was the first Chinese student to study at Art center college of design. In 1989, he completed his double master's degree with honors. As a student, Brian Zheng studied industrial design and found that many of his renderings had a painterly quality. It encouraged him to pursue drawing and painting. Due to years of immersion in the atmosphere of contemporary art, his work has also formed a unique style. Brian’s personal social role is very diverse. He is an artist, designer, inventor, entrepreneur, social activist. Just as his art works are full of possibilities, he can see various paintings in his works. The production of materials, a variety of expressions, the fusion of a variety of cultural languages, mixed with pure or complex emotions, the production style is bold and confident, the subject matter is diverse, has a strong appeal, bringing viewers a visual sense of novelty. Brian has always insisted on his artistic ideals. He is not a painter who is addicted to studying painting techniques. Each of his works is a process from a simple description of phenomena to an exploration of the nature of phenomena. It is also a process of self-questioning and answering. The pursuit of art works with ideological support.
