About The Artwork
This work is part of the "Abstract landscapes" series. There are three paintigs. Each one mesures 70x70 cm (27.56"x27.56"). This is a scene from my mind ..so could be anywhere and everywhere for you. Perhaps to awaken some personal memories and feelings. I'm inspired by color, texture and movement. It is a song to nature and life. I show my intimate vision of the world. The surface has small reliefs. Painted with brush and palette knife also. It has a lot of layers of paint. The horizon line is quite textured. It is varnished for protection from dust and light. I build the composition slowly over time, adding layers of colors and working them over and over again. The work is only considered finished when the balance arrives. I then pull the painting out of the chaos of the studio and hang it on a wall for one last moment of contemplation before it is finally signed. The signe, the title and the date are on the back. It will be sent to you with a signed certificate of authenticity

I am a painter and photographer based in Zaragoza, Spain. For many years I worked on figurative paintings, but some years ago I started painting colorful abstract paintings. They are expressionist and geometric works. In all of them, emotions are the main subject. These paintings talk about feelings, try to tell stories. I tend to use bright colors in order to create vibrancy, dynamism and optimism. My paintings are a hymn to the beauty of nature and life. In my last works, I am experiencing with the combination of a painting and photographs in black and white. I call this collection "Emotional landscapes". In them I'm looking for a new interpretation of the landscape through the dialogue between photography and painting. My preferred mediums are oil and acrylic on canvas and I generally paint on hand stretched canvas. I also do limited edition photography prints on canvas. My work has been exhibed in solo, group and traveling exhibitions, and is hanging in private collections over the world.
