Triumph of Life Painting

There was a point when I was painting the divine and I was stuck. How capture its brilliance? Its frenetic joy? Heavy paint or intensely stylised techniques i was using captured its solemnity but not Its frenetic joy. Stumped I asked my spirit guide, Lord Izh. He smiled and said ”Merge it, try scumbling...” The painting reveals a brilliant, almost blinding light at the centre. From the core lines, rays, symbols, dimensions and worlds began to emerge... As if to remind or reveal that from the impossible brilliance emerges a logic... Rules and order come out from joy... The oil is painted on thin, colour marked in and removed. The canvas is a cut and pasted on board and framed in a basic wood frame. The feel of the painting while obviously blazing is simultaneously very centering. The dimensions of the piece, its length reminds us that we deal with a wide consciousness spectrum. While normally the divine is shown above everything this asks us to consider what if the divine is within everything at the navel of the universe.
