ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As I do not have a mental image or a goal when I start painting, I only tune into my inner space and emotions, and to the music, I play in the background and allow the feelings, intuition, and spontaneity to take over. In this painting, I scrubbed the layered paint away at times and allowed the underneath layers to emerge. At the end of the process, I highlighted the figures I saw. I can see sharks, turtles, a mermaid, seashells, a fisherman, and more. What do you see? Medium: acrylic and Indian ink on recycled handmade cotton paper in a box frame. Ready to hang with hardware included.
