This painting is titled "True" because it juxtaposes a blue rose against a red rose. the red rose is the focal point and is a symbol of true love, the blue rose is artificially colored and thus not true love. True love conquers all .this was my artistic way of expressing this. It is painted with a palette knife which adds a rich texture to it.
