In "Turn Around And See", a surreal burst of fantastical creatures explodes into motion, caught in a swirl of vibrant color and kinetic energy. Tom Voight (artist name) was born in Germany and now lives in Vietnam. Creativity and art have been at the center of his life since early childhood. In addition to paiting, he also works as movie director, scriptwriter, designer and animator. For him, art is the closest thing to magic that exists. His paintings explore the passage from the mundane to the spiritual, often drawing on personal experiences, events, meditative visions, and dreams. Human figures blend with elements of nature, forming allegories of life and stories of existence. The process is both spontaneous and deliberate. At times, he paints intuitively, letting the work lead him forward. At other times, he begins with detailed digital concepts. which act as guides—motors for the idea—before being stylized and translated into oil on canvas. These sketches serve as reminders of the core vision, but the final painting often evolves during creation. To bring his works to life, he uses a wide range of tools. His unique style has been evolving for many years, continuously seeking new forms of expression.
