Twilight At The Ocean Painting

I love everything involving water, waterlilies, nature and light. My desire is to catch a moment in nature forever on canvas. So that you can take it home with you. Painting for me is like entering a secret treasure place parallel to the outside world, where I can go every time I want to. My easel waits for me and to paint gives me strength and happiness. A peaceful quiet place, where I can always find me. I put all my love, power and fun in my work and I am sure that my paintings will give all of that to its new home. I was born and raised up in Rendsburg, Schleswig-Holstein between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, which draws my desire to water. I live now in Hamburg with my husband and our two children. I paint with acrylic on canvas with brushes, palette knives and my fingers. Ever since I remember I have supplied my family and friends with my paintings. I was trained over the years by different well known artists, while I had my dayjob in Real Estate. I was finally courageous enough to go all in the art world. I am a fulltime artist and it is an exciting and fulfilling wonderful journey. I took part in multiple solo- and group exhibitions. My paintings can be seen in publications including Vogue Magazine UK, The World Of Interiors, House and Garden UK online and many more.
