ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting resulted from a rhythmic technique I use where the canvas becomes a drum. While painting, I was thinking of a question Peter Sloterdijk asked in an interview, "is the information in the sky or the clouds?" A recurring theme in my work is the influence of background on experience.
