This famous lighthouse was painted several times by Edward Hopper. I am a great fan of his work and like him, I am obsessed with the play of light and shadow which expresses volumes and creates a special atmosphere. Painted with expert quality Winsor & Newton water color pigments on heavy acid-free pure cotton Arches paper. Signed in the lower right corner. Not framed. I advise to mount in a 7 cm matt board and a 40 x 50 cm frame. If required, I can take care of the framing.

Belgium
Artist, free-lance graphic designer and photographer. I went back to (almost) full-time painting in 2017. I don't feel connected to the advertising world and computer generated visuals anymore. I wish to produce genuine art and tell stories with my paintings. After breaking a leg last year, I had to stay in bed and picked up water color. Artists like Edward Hopper, Joaquin Sorolla and Egon Schiele inspire me greatly. My favourite subjects are people, views with water (sea, river, lake, boats) and fly fishing.
