I am a visual artist based in New York, working primarily in abstract and contemporary painting. My work explores emotion, memory, urban tension, and identity through layered textures, expressive gestures, and bold, physical compositions. Coming from a background in textile and fashion design, I approach painting as a material-driven process rather than a purely visual one. I build surfaces through multiple layers of acrylic, mixed media, and texture, allowing the work to develop organically over time. Each piece carries visible traces of process, touch, and repetition. My practice focuses on creating original, one-of-a-kind works that resist fixed narratives. Instead, the paintings invite the viewer into a personal and emotional dialogue, where meaning shifts depending on memory, distance, and perception. Each artwork exists as a singular object — tactile, imperfect, and intentionally unresolved.
